Safety is of utmost importance to Driving Miss Daisy which is why we will only provide franchises to people who have met our strict qualification requirements.
All Driving Miss Daisy Franchise Owners and drivers are fully qualified to drive passengers. A Passenger (P) Endorsement, and Transport Service License is required for all Franchise Owners and administered by the New Zealand Transport Agency, and all Driving Miss Daisy drivers are required to have a P Endorsement. It is also a company requirement for all drivers to have completed a current First Aid Course, and many have achieved Unit Standards for handling clients with disabilities.
All Driving Miss Daisy Franchise Owners have been police checked by the New Zealand Police. We have been accepted by the New Zealand Police as an appropriate organisation which can apply for police checks to be undertaken on each franchise applicant.
We work closely with VTNZ to ensure all of our vehicles are Certificate of Fitness compliant.
