Christine Sanderson, Warkworth
Dear Sir/Madam
Earlier this year I went to New Plymouth to visit an elderly and partially disabled friend in Tainui Rest Home. Rather than trying to cope with city buses, taxis or hire car (rental), I contacted Driving Miss Daisy’s Jenny Tobeck to make a plan for my stay. Much to my delight I was able to use her services for my 4 days and nothing was too much trouble for Jenny. Her patience and courtesty towards us made my stay really hastle free. My friend’s walking frame and neccesary baggage was stowed efficiently in the boot and hand luggage within easy reach by our feet for each journey. My request for Tiki-tours and commentaries of the areas, plus local histroy was met with a delightful and impressive knowledge of such, plus an obvious enjoyment of our company whilst doing so.
The morning of my last day, Jenny drove me to the airport, again with an interesting detour, and I was impressed with her willingness to oblige. I hope to visit New Plymouth again in the near future and would have no hesitation in using Jenny’s Driving Miss Daisy service again.
