Hi there, my name is Karyn and I am the proud owner of the Driving Miss Daisy franchise in the Timaru area. I am married to Richard and have 3 children Tom, Oliver and Abbie as well as a new son in law Hamish. We live on the outskirts of Timaru on a few acres filled with various animals!

I have lived in Timaru all my life and prior to Driving Miss Daisy I have run my own Photography business for 6 years, specializing in newborns and toddlers which is also a position of trust and a big responsibility, that I absolutely loved but feel that I am now ready to take this next step. I am excited to be able to help make the lives of our clients easier and help them to keep their independence or even to gain more. While always doing it with a smile, and lots of laughs!

We love living in Timaru and I love meeting new people, we can assist you with anything you need, getting to appointments, getting your groceries, or even just popping out for a coffee and a chat!

I am looking forward to doing more outings and overnight stays with our Travel Club as my team have some great ideas of places to visit. This means you can get out and about to do things you thought were not possible! We can take you wherever you would like to go! Wearable Arts, touring New Zealand, or even that overseas trip when we can travel again. Or you might like to go to Ashburton for a coffee. Have a chat with us and we will make it happen. We also do some group outings for a day away which is an awesome way to meet people as well as having a great time.

We can take children to daycare or pick them up from school and take them to their after-school activities, nothing is ever a problem! Just ring and talk to us.

I have a great team of drivers who all understand the Driving Miss Daisy way and enjoy meeting and assisting all of our clients. We have 2 wheelchair accessible vehicles and we are also a registered transport provider for ACC. Or you can also use your Total Mobility card to get half price fares.

I love building relationships with my clients and being that listening ear that is often needed.
