Welcome to Driving Miss Daisy Taupō

I’m excited to be supporting the Taupō community with our new Driving Miss Daisy franchise, providing a caring, safe, and reliable companion driving service. I have strong ties to the Taupō region, having previously lived here as a dairy farm sharemilker and farm owner while my family attended local schools. Since then, I’ve worked in the ECE and mental health sectors. I also cared for my mum who lived with Alzheimer’s, which gave me a deep understanding of the importance of compassionate support and companionship. I truly valued being alongside her, helping her stay connected and enjoy outings. I will be managing Driving Miss Daisy Taupō and am passionate about delivering a service that makes a real difference in people’s lives.

Dean has recently relocated to the Taupō region and understands how important mobility and independence are. He has a strong background in dairy farming and holds an extensive range of driving licences. Dean really values the role Driving Miss Daisy plays in supporting communities across New Zealand, Australia, the UK, and soon Ireland.
