Welcome to Driving Miss Daisy North Canterbury. My name is Heather Anderson, and along with Rochelle McLachlan, we are thrilled to provide an excellent companion care service to our district, which has successfully operated in North Canterbury since 2012.

We have both been residents in Kaiapoi for over 16 years. My twin boys, who are very passionate about their basketball, are currently in Year 13 at Kaiapoi High School. I have a management background in Passenger Transport and have been involved in this industry for approximately 18 years. During this time my main passion has been in Operational Management for the MOE Special Education School Transport Assistance. Rochelle has an extensive background in Compliance and Health & Safety Management which is a great asset to our ongoing commitment to keeping everyone safe.

Driving Miss Daisy is a personalised companion driving service, and we provide a caring, safe and reliable service for you, your family or friends. Making a difference is important to us, and our service provides an opportunity for you or your family to stay connected to community and maintain important interests and activities.

Driving Miss Daisy offers:

Door to door travel to appointments, airport, shopping trips etc.
Door to door travel for children for school pickups and after school activities.

Companion service to accompany to appointments or events.

We have a fantastic team of drivers who embody the Driving Miss Daisy way, and enjoy meeting and assisting our clients. We have a reliable and well serviced fleet, including two wheelchair accessible vehicles, to cover everyone’s needs.

We are ACC and TMS (Total Mobility Scheme) accredited which makes our personal service even more affordable.
