We are Heather and James Blacklaws and the owners of Driving Miss Daisy Nelson East and West, providing a service that plays such an important role in our local community.
We have lived in Nelson now for 8 years with our two daughters and love the lifestyle Nelson offers.
While James will be in the background supporting, I will be the day-to-day friendly voice you will hear when you call or meet when out and about. I have an extensive background in customer service, administration and logistics and am excited to bring these skills into a business that provides not just transport, but meaningful support and connection for the people it serves.
Our focus is to build on the strong foundation already in place, while bringing fresh energy and a commitment to great customer care. Along with our team of experienced drivers we are passionate about providing safe, reliable, and compassionate companion driving, and we’re looking forward to building strong relationships with existing clients while welcoming new ones.

All services are door to door with our support as requested.
We are an ACC approved vendor and also offer the Total Mobility Scheme Service.
