Hi, my name is Tracey McConnachie. I am excited to be the owner of Driving Miss Daisy Nelson West.
Having grown up in Christchurch, I left home to join the Airforce and was posted to the RNZAF base in Wellington. I then moved to Blenheim, where I was a stay-at-home mother bringing up my two wonderful boys. As they grew I managed to fit in some part-time care work, firstly with the elderly, then with people with mental health needs.
When I was ready to go back to work full time I chose a career in Insurance, which brought us to Nelson where we have lived since 2009. While some roles centred on sales, I preferred roles that focussed on providing a service and building relationships so that clients got to know who they were entrusting their business with. This was rewarding, but after eleven years I felt it was time for a change. When the opportunity arose to purchase the Driving Miss Daisy Nelson West Franchise, I knew it was everything I wanted. Moving out of the corporate office but still building relationships, while helping people.
Driving Miss Daisy is focused on providing a caring and reliable companion driving service for people of all ages. I can drive you to medical appointments, shopping, social activities or wherever you need to go.
I look forward to hearing from you and building a meaningful and trusted relationship with you and your family.
