Hi, my name is Joleah Zürcher, but most people call me Jo, and I am excited to be the new owner of the Napier Driving Miss Daisy franchise.
I grew up on a farm in Central Hawkes Bay and was a boarder at Sacred Heart College in Napier. Spent time travelling overseas, lived in Christchurch where I went to university, got a post graduate diploma in teaching and worked in administration.
I moved back to Hawkes Bay 11 years ago when pregnant to be closer to my family. My active 10-year-old has kept me quite busy since then.
When I decided it was time to start working again, nothing seemed to interest me much. I had a few part-time jobs but wanted something more – something that felt more fulfilling.
I saw the Driving Miss Daisy advert on Facebook and clicked on the link thinking that it wouldn’t hurt to just find out a bit more information. After researching and talking and thinking about it, I realised that this was what I had been looking for – not just a job, but helping and connecting with people in my community.
I look forward to meeting new clients and providing them with the 5 star service that Driving Miss Daisy is known for.
