Hi, my name is Deborah Hughes. My husband and I are the proud new owners of Driving Miss Daisy Lower Hutt.

We have lived in Lower Hutt our whole lives. I just can’t imagine calling anywhere else home. We have raised our four children here and have strong connections with the community. We love to travel but nothing beats coming home to where everything makes sense.

My work background involves teaching, administration/reception roles and working as a diversional therapist in a local rest home.

I am a caring and empathetic person who knows how important it is for our clients to maintain independence and be able to get out in the community despite the challenges life presents.  Having the reassurance and support where needed, to get to where you need to go is a vital part of our wellbeing.

We are very proud to be part of the team at Driving Miss Daisy Lower Hutt – who provide outstanding service and companionship to our clients. We have lovely, qualified drivers who are trained to take the stress out of a journey. Relax knowing you are in safe hands, and we are here to assist you all the way.

Driving Miss Daisy is a pre-booked, pre-quoted service so you know when we are going to turn up and how much we charge – always on time and no surprises. We are an ACC contracted Supplier and accept Total Mobility Scheme cards.
