I was driving behind a Driving Miss Daisy car one day and thought ‘that would be a great job’ and so the journey began! I loved the whole concept of a helpful, friendly personal service, driving and accompanying people to appointments, shopping and on outings – really adding to their quality of life.

In May of 2015, my wife Joy and I secured the existing Kapiti franchise and introduced a mobility vehicle to the fleet, it has proved extremely valuable to many wheelchair bound clients. In 2016 we added a third vehicle to ensure we continued to meet our clients’ needs.

This truly is ‘a business with heart’ and no price can be put on the satisfaction of making a difference in peoples lives.  I am often stopped in the street and people comment ‘‘you’ve got a great job’ I have to agree with them and of course it is a bonus to work and live in such a magnificent part of the world! I also must acknowledge the great team of experienced and friendly drivers who continue to give our many valued clients a safe, reliable, and positive companion driving experience.
