We are thrilled to own the Driving Miss Daisy – Dunedin North Franchise, and believe we can help to make a positive difference to the lives of our clients. Together, we have been providing the Driving Miss Daisy service in the Dunedin North area since 2012.
Having lived in Dunedin all our lives, we love this fantastic and friendly city.
We look forward to meeting many new and interesting people and helping them maintain or regain independence, whilst having a giggle or two along the way
Bolty and I have both had careers in the public sector, I was an Intelligence Analyst with the Police and Corrections Department, and Bolty was a Police Dog Handler. We have three grown up children and five wonderful grandchildren, who we indulge at every opportunity.
We provide a variety of services. As well as day to day transport needs, we have a number of clients who use us to assist with their grocery shopping and some that we take for an outing each week. We often accompany our clients to their medical appointments and we arrange outings such as picnics, attending shows or ‘High Tea’ at a local café. These can be arranged individually or we can put together a group, enabling our clients to meet new people and make new friends.
We have built a great team of highly qualified drivers who all understand the Driving Miss Daisy way and enjoy meeting and assisting all of our clients. Our Drivers all have current Fist Aid Certificates and are trained as Dementia Friends.
Some the highlights from the last 8 years have been, winning Driving Miss Daisy NZ awards, Marketing & Social Media Award in 2014, Supreme Franchisee in 2016 and Best 5+ Car in 2019, But most importantly the amazing people we have met, who have interesting stories, that they continually enchant us with about their lives and experiences.
If you believe that our Award winning Team can assist you or your family, feel free to phone us to discuss your needs.
