I’m Janita Isaacs and I am very happy to be operating the Botany Franchise of Driving Miss Daisy which spans across Botany, Whitford, Beachlands, Omana and Maraetai and Flat Bush.
I’ve resided in Botany for several years with my husband, Jason and our two daughters, Amy and Nadia. I am active in the local community, and have volunteered at Neighbourhood Support, Pakuranga/Bucklands Beach for the past few years, I began as a street contact and am now on the committee. I am also active in local community events like the Neighbours Day Aoteoroa.
I have seen the good of independent living and how much it means to people. My mother is unable to drive and my whole childhood, she got me round town on public transport. Bus trips were a thing of the past as soon as I got my driver’s license and mum was able to call on me to get her around. I was happy that I could be there to help her with shopping, medical appointments, and visiting friends and family – we certainly enjoyed many outings together.
Prior to Driving Miss Daisy, my career was in the corporate world at various medium to large companies where I was involved in marketing and advertising. I was particularly interested in project management and successfully ran campaigns and promotions. I decided to put my experience and skills to the test and start up my own business.
My Driving Miss Daisy adventure begins with you and I look forward to spending time out and about, getting you to where you want to go, when you want to go, and I am happy to take you out as often as you need.
I am enjoying providing an excellent community service in Botany, and meeting lots of new people.
Thank you so much for your excellent service and communication, it has been so helpful to be able to rely on you and your team during the very difficult time we’ve had with Kate over the past 2.5 years.
