A Daisy’s job is not for the faint hearted. It requires you to be selfless and compassionate at every turn and with every client, Trudy is one of those Daisy’s. She ensures every individual is well looked after and often goes to visit clients in her own time.
On one occasion, Trudy was transporting a client who is wheelchair bound to the hospital to have her injured foot x-rayed. Trudy was able to keep her client calm whilst being in a lot of pain and assisted the medical staff with getting up from her wheelchair and later putting on a moon boot. Trudy’s calming influence got them through the difficult appointment. Both the client, radiography staff and Bupa staff were very grateful for Trudy’s assistance.
