January 2017 Driving Miss Daisy Driver of the Month – Monika Hadfield Kretz.

Monika Hadfield-Kretz has been with Driving Miss Daisy from the early days and is a real asset to our team. Monika has volunteered to work Christmas Day each year and this year with her help we were able to make it possible for 15 clients to be with their families and friends for their Christmas lunch or dinner.   Most of these clients were seniors who needed to stay in their wheelchairs to travel, so she transported them to and fro in our new VW Caddy.

With Monika, it is all about the little details that help set us apart from others.  She sets herself high standards in her work, down to making sure the vehicle is immaculate when she leaves for the first ride in the morning. She thrives on being busy, has a positive, problem solving attitude and clients appreciate her calm, capable, warm demeanour.
