The week before Easter one of their clients was preparing to celebrate her 89th birthday. The day before, she had a bad fall and ended up in hospital.
Janet visited the client on Good Friday at the hospital. This client loves painting hydrangeas so she took one from her own garden for her. She also brought her a few roses, some sweets and a hand lotion to cheer her up. The client was so happy to see Janet she was brought to tears.
On another occasion, Janet visited the client again with a few treats from the hospital shop. The client appeared a lot chirpier than previously and Janet’s visit warmed her heart. Our lovely client advertised to the rest of the people in the ward that Janet was her Driving Miss Daisy driver and that she thought Driving Miss Daisy was wonderful.
Janet is always on hand with a hug for those that need one and leaves a little piece of her great big heart with our clients each time she takes them home. We wish to acknowledge the tremendous amount of love and friendship Janet brings to our many clients. They really appreciate the extra mile Janet goes to, to brighten up their day.
