Claire Johnson nominated by Paul Sanson, Franchisee – Driving Miss Daisy Hobsonville

Claire recently had an incident with a client who is recovering from a stroke and has some communication difficulties, unbeknownst to Claire she also suffers from diabetes.  While at an appointment, the client suffered from a “diabetic low” which required Claire to immediately boost the lady’s glucose levels with whatever was available.  Upon arriving at the client’s home, the client advised she wished to have a rest, but first Claire ensured that the client had eaten a sufficient meal.  She sat her down at the table and prepared some food then ensured she was eating it before leaving her at home alone.

After leaving the client she phoned Paul to advise him of the incident and to ensure that the client’s family was made aware of the situation.  This was certainly going the extra mile and Paul continues to be delighted with the level of care and respect Claire has for the clients in her care.
