Hi, my name is Margot Hagan.
I have been a physiotherapist for 25 years and for the last 4 years, I have been working with the over 80's on the North Shore on the community based Otago Exercise Program. This has helped improve their fitness, strength and balance to allow them to live more confidently in their own homes. I have really enjoyed getting to know our older citizens and see Driving Miss Daisy as a way of continuing supporting them in the community.
I am happily married to John, who will support me by looking after the business administration side of things. We have 3 gorgeous children and when I take my Daisy hat off for the day, I can usually be found on the sideline of one of their many sports teams.
We have chosen to live on Auckland's North Shore as we believe it is a wonderful environment and community to raise our children. I love to spend my free time walking my dog along one of North Shore's beautiful beaches, delving into a good book or simply catching up with friends at a local café.
